BASi has expanded its business development team in the U.S. and Europe. Jack Polidoro, Ph.D., will focus on the company’s Evansville, IN operation and two additional business development representatives (unnamed) will work out of BASi’s facility in the UK.
   
Dr. Polidoro will focus on large and small pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device clients. He will augment the Evansville toxicology lab’s business development efforts nationwide, with an emphasis on the Northeast.

Strategically it is a good move for us today and it will provide better coverage to these specific regions,” stated BASi vice president of sales and marketing, Jon Brewer. “They have already showcased outstanding initiative, and I am anxious to see the results. Their immense amount of industry experience will be an asset to our team and clients worldwide.”

Dr. Polidoro joined the company in December 2008 and has more than 25 years of experience in preclinical CRO business development. He has successfully marketed CRO toxicology, PK, ADME, bioanalytical and other services across the U.S.
